A single, easy-to-read number (0–100) that captures how banged-up an NFL team's roster is heading into any given week. Built from that week's official injury report, the score weights each player's designation (Out, Doubtful, Questionable) by the relative importance of their position — a starting QB or CB listed as Out drags the score down far more than a long snapper — so the number reflects true roster impact, not just a raw count of names on the report.
A score near 100 means a clean bill of health. Scores dropping into the 40s, 30s, or lower flag a team dealing with significant, high-value injuries that could affect performance that week. Developed with a physical therapist's lens on positional value and injury severity, this score gives fantasy managers, analysts, and researchers a fast way to gauge a team's true health status beyond the surface-level injury report — without having to parse individual designations position by position.
