About This Insight

Does your team bring injured starters back faster or slower than the rest of the league? For every team, see how many more (or fewer) games its starters miss than the league norm for the same position and injury. Positive bars mean slower returns; negative bars mean faster.

Over all positions and injuries, the Bills return starters fastest at about two-thirds of a game quicker than typical, followed by the Buccaneers and Ravens. The Giants and Cardinals are the slowest, about half a game slower.

Teams with few cases are pulled toward the league average so small samples don’t produce extreme results, and combinations with fewer than 10 cases show no bar. Filter by position and injury. Starters since 2016, updated weekly.

Banged Up Bills turns the NFL injury report into answers you can act on before kickoff. Built by a Doctor of Physical Therapy from every injury report and game log since 2016, the products answer what fantasy players and bettors need to know each week: Will he play? How will he produce if he does? When is he back, and how long until he's himself again? Who picks up the snaps when a starter sits? Current-week products refresh nightly as new reports come in, and most listings are filterable by team, position or injury, so you get the answer for your player instead of a league-wide average. Injury data doesn't lie.
