This chart shows how NFL injuries actually play out. For any position and injury combination, it plots the share of injury episodes that cost 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4+ games. The vertical axis is the percentage of episodes, so the points add up to 100%.
Most injury tags never cost a game, and the ones that do rarely cost many. This chart puts numbers on that, so you can size up a Questionable tag or a new injury designation so you can have a better idea of how an injury affects that particular player.
How to use it: Set both the Position and Injury filters before you run it. If you leave one blank, the result mixes several combinations together.
