Each row captures one event in the exact order it occurred, providing a full chronological view of the game. Coverage includes kickoffs, drives, passes, rushing plays, play outcomes, touchdowns, field goals, penalties, timeouts, fumbles, injuries, punts, possession changes, one- and two-point conversions, safeties and overtime events. Pre-game context such as weather, the coin toss and the direction each team is defending is included before the opening quarter, with the halftime direction change placed correctly within the sequence.
Every record includes the fixture, scheduled kickoff time, event category, game clock, quarter, plain-English event summary and running score at that point in the game. The MIN field reflects the NFL game clock and counts down within the current quarter or period, rather than counting continuously upwards from the start of the fixture. Event descriptions add context such as the teams involved, possession, penalty type and yardage, drive outcomes and scoring results. Running scores incorporate touchdowns, field goals, safeties and conversions, with adjustments applied where required to keep the score accurate throughout the game.
Built from the TXODDS Scores feed, the 2024 dataset follows the same schema as the 2025 and 2026 NFL seasons, making it easy to analyse multiple seasons together or run existing queries, models and pipelines without remapping fields.
