About This Insight

Your player is back from injury, but will he play his normal snaps? See how often starters played less than half their usual snap share in their first game back, compared with their third game back, broken down by how many games they missed.

The longer the layoff, the bigger the risk. League-wide, 12% of starters coming off a one-game absence play under half their normal snaps in game 1. After missing 4 or more games, that jumps to 25%, and by game 3 it falls back to 12%.

Filter by position and injury. Starters only, since 2016. Updated weekly.

Banged Up Bills turns the NFL injury report into answers you can act on before kickoff. Built by a Doctor of Physical Therapy from every injury report and game log since 2016, the products answer what fantasy players and bettors need to know each week: Will he play? How will he produce if he does? When is he back, and how long until he's himself again? Who picks up the snaps when a starter sits? Current-week products refresh nightly as new reports come in, and most listings are filterable by team, position or injury, so you get the answer for your player instead of a league-wide average. Injury data doesn't lie.
