This chart counts registered electric vehicles by ZIP code using the electric vehicle population dataset published on data.gov. Nearly all of its 276,828 vehicles are registered in Washington State, across 1,118 ZIP codes, with model years from 1999 to 2026.
The highest counts are in Redmond (98052, 6,710 vehicles), Mill Creek (98012, 5,343), Kirkland (98033, 4,535) and two Bellevue ZIP codes (98006 and 98004, about 4,000 each).
Use it to find EV adoption hotspots for charging infrastructure, utility planning or local market sizing.
