## Description

How much pass rush will an injured defensive lineman or linebacker bring when he returns? This chart covers every starting DL and LB currently missing games with an injury. For each one it compares his pressures per game before the injury with his projected pressures per game over his first 4 games back.

- Before injury: his average pressures per game (sacks + QB hits + hurries) over his last 6 games played.

- Projected return: that baseline adjusted by how similar starting pass rushers actually performed in their first 4 games back. The comparison is matched by expected games missed, and by injury type when there are enough cases.

- Low / high range: the typical range of outcomes for those similar returns.

Filter by player, team or position (DL or LB). The data updates as the injury report changes. Only starters are included: 45%+ of defensive snaps for DL and 60%+ for LB before the injury. Pressure data comes from Pro Football Reference, 2018 onward.

Use it for IDP lineup decisions, sack props, and judging how much a returning pass rusher changes a matchup.
