## Description

Access detailed NFL play-by-play data for the complete 2025 season, with every game available as a CSV for use in analytics, machine learning models, backtesting, automated recaps and dashboards.

Each row represents a single event in chronological order, creating a complete timeline of what happened during the game. Events include kickoffs, drives, passes, rushing plays, play outcomes, touchdowns, field goals, penalties, timeouts, fumbles, injuries, punts, possession changes, one- and two-point conversions, safeties and overtime actions. Pre-game information such as weather conditions, the coin toss and team direction appears before the opening quarter, with the halftime direction switch positioned correctly within the event sequence.

Every event contains the fixture, scheduled kickoff time, event category, game clock, quarter, plain-English event description and running score at that point in the game. MIN follows the NFL game clock and counts down within the current quarter or period, rather than counting upwards continuously from the start of the game. Event summaries provide additional context including the teams involved, possession, penalty type and yardage, drive outcomes and scoring plays. Running scores are calculated from touchdowns, field goals, safeties and conversions, with adjustments applied where necessary to maintain an accurate score throughout the full game.

The dataset is built from the TXODDS Scores feed and uses the same consistent schema as the 2024 and 2026 NFL datasets. This makes it straightforward to combine multiple seasons or run existing models, queries and pipelines against 2025 data without additional field mapping or transformation.
