## Description

This scatter plot compares each NBA player's height with their wingspan, both in inches, for 419 players in the 2025 dataset from the SCORE Sports Data network.
Players average 78.1 inches tall (about 6 feet 6 inches) with an average wingspan of 82.6 inches, so the typical wingspan exceeds height by about 4.5 inches. Height and wingspan are strongly correlated (r = 0.81), and the players furthest above the trend line have unusually long arms for their height.
Use it to spot length outliers when evaluating defenders and rim protectors.
